Armillary Sphere

Produced for The Friends of the Navy, Cinnabar developed, engineered, fabricated, and installed artist Terry Braunstein’s Armillary Sphere for the U.S. Navy Memorial in Long Beach, CA.

The 15-foot diameter sculpture is composed of a patinated, cast bronze globe surrounded by passivated stainless steel rings with engraved naval brass panels, and adorned with enamel narrative panels depicting naval and ocean themes.
