Lands End Lookout
- Client: Golden Gate National Parks Conservancy, San Francisco
- 4,150 Square feet
Lands End Lookout is a multi-use facility presenting exhibits on the area’s rich cultural and natural history, as well as a park-related retail space and a cafĂ©. This jewel-box Visitor Center also serves as the main entrance to the Coastal Trail at Lands End.
For this project, Cinnabar pioneered the production process for laser etching graphics into end-stacked cardboard surfaces, resulting in unique, floating 8-foot ceiling panels displaying crisp and evocative images.
From technical design to installation in 5 months, Cinnabar fabricated custom retail fixtures, educational displays, and graphics, as well as interactives featuring historical photos, artwork and information. Cinnabar worked in close collaboration with the project’s designer, Jeremy Regenbogen, of Macchiatto in San Francisco.
